Marseille coach Elie Baup has hailed this Sunday's clash with Paris Saint-Germain as the biggest game of the season in Ligue 1.
Games between the country's two great rivals are always highly anticipated, but there is an extra incentive this year with the domestic title very much up for grabs.
Carlo Ancelotti's men currently hold the advantage, but Les Phooceens could cut the gap to just two points with victory at the Parc des Princes.
The two teams also play in the last 16 of the French Cup on Wednesday and Baup believes that it could be a season-defining week.
"In the history of both clubs, 'the clasico' is very important," Baup told reporters.
"Emotionally and in the media, it's still the most important moment of the season.
"Obviously, every game is extremely important but it's a special week with two games in three days against PSG."
Lyon, who are second in the table, host Lorient on Saturday.
