Sandro: 'Queens Park Rangers can avoid relegation'

Queens Park Rangers midfielder Sandro believes that the club can avoid relegation from the Premier League this season.

Sandro has insisted that Queens Park Rangers will be able to avoid relegation from the Premier League this season.

The London side returned to the top flight through the Championship playoffs last season, but have won just twice so far this campaign, which leaves them in the bottom three.

The midfielder told Perform: "Of course [QPR can avoid relegation]. It's very early yet, only nine rounds played so far. As I said, we are improving match by match and now it is time to start winning.

"We surely have potential to stay in the Premier League and that is what we are going to do."

Harry Redknapp's side face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this afternoon.
