Real Madrid team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Braga

Sports Mole rounds up Real Madrid's injury and suspension news ahead of Wednesday's Champions League Group C clash with Braga.

Real Madrid will be out to make it four wins from four in Champions League Group C when they welcome Portuguese outfit Braga to the Bernabeu on Wednesday night.

Los Blancos followed up victories over Napoli and Union Berlin with a 2-1 beating of their upcoming opponents a fortnight ago, where Rodrygo and Jude Bellingham's goals proved decisive.

A point on Wednesday would guarantee Real Madrid's place in the knockout rounds with two matches to spare, but Carlo Ancelotti's side enter the showdown on the back of a goalless draw with Rayo Vallecano in La Liga action at the weekend.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Real Madrid's injury and suspension news ahead of their meeting with Braga, who are third in the section with three points to their name.

Jude Bellingham

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Shoulder
Possible return date: November 8 (vs. Braga)

Jude Bellingham completed the full 90 minutes of the draw with Vallecano, but the England international had damaged his shoulder in the first half and will need assessing ahead of Wednesday; Ancelotti does not believe that his problem is a severe one, though.

Eder Militao

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

In contrast, Eder Militao's knee injury is a severe one, and the Brazilian defender is still months away from a first-team comeback.

Thibaut Courtois

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Similarly, Thibaut Courtois is also on the long road to recovery after going under the knife to treat an ACL injury, and the Belgian shot-stopper is not guaranteed to return before the season is over.

Dani Ceballos

Status: Out
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: Unknown

Dani Ceballos has now missed Real's last four games due to a muscular injury, and while Ancelotti revealed before the draw with Vallecano that the Spaniard would return to training this week, he has not made the cut for this game.

Aurelien Tchouameni

Status: Out
Type of injury: Foot
Possible return date: December 3 (vs. Granada)

Aurelien Tchouameni was a casualty of last weekend's El Clasico victory over Barcelona with a stress fracture in his left foot, and the ex-Monaco man is unlikely to return to the fold before the beginning of December.

Ferland Mendy

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Fatigue
Possible return date: November 8 (vs. Braga)

Left-back Ferland Mendy was nowhere to be seen against Vallecano due to overload, but Ancelotti affirmed before the game that he expects the Frenchman to be at his disposal on Wednesday.

REAL MADRID'S SUSPENSION LIST

Real Madrid have no players suspended for this match, but Eduardo Camavinga is one booking away from incurring a continental ban.
