Jese Rodriguez to return for Real Madrid

Jese Rodriguez will make his long-awaited return for Real Madrid this week.

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has revealed that Jese Rodriguez will return from injury in Tuesday's Copa del Rey clash with Cornella.

The Spaniard has been out of action since March with a serious knee injury, but has been passed fit to return this week.

"I plan to rotate my players, not because the team are tired. The team are doing fine, but [my XI] will be determined by technical profiles, not physical," Ancelotti told reporters.

"Jese won't start the match but he'll play in the second half. It's great news for us, as he's a guy with great quality. He's eager and very excited."

Jese burst onto the scene at Real Madrid last season.
