Real Madrid manager Rafael Benitez has asked Gareth Bale to clear up comments from his agent aimed against Cristiano Ronaldo, according to reports in Spain.
Bale's agent Jonathan Barnett has been quoted as saying that he does not believe the Wales international "wants to be the best model in the world or the best underwear seller," seemingly referring to Ronaldo's modelling deals.
As a result, Spanish radio station Cadena SER claims that Benitez contacted Bale requesting him to clear up the quotes with Ronaldo in an attempt to avoid a potential feud.
Bale is said to have been told to speak to Ronaldo in person during yesterday evening's training session in Valdebebas ahead of Saturday's La Liga game against Levante.
