Kylian Mbappe 'to sign Real Madrid contract by end of next week'

Kylian Mbappe will reportedly officially sign his contract with Real Madrid by the end of next week.

The France international's deal at Paris Saint-Germain is due to expire at the end of June, and he continues to be heavily linked with a move to Bernabeu on a free transfer.

PSG have desperately been attempting to convince the attacker to sign fresh terms in the French capital but have seemingly now been forced to admit defeat.

According to Marca, Real Madrid are confident that Mbappe will sign his contract at Bernabeu by the end of last week, bringing the long-running saga to a close.

The report claims that 'negotiations have intensified' since Los Blancos knocked PSG out of the Champions League last week, with Mbappe's two goals in the tie not enough to send his side through.

The 23-year-old will allegedly earn €25m (£20.9m) per season after tax, while he could receive a bonus of between €60m (£50m) and €80m (£67m) to join the club.

Mbappe has again been in terrific form for his French club during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring 25 times and registering 17 assists in 35 appearances in all competitions.
