Santa Clara vs. Arouca (Saturday, 3.30pm)

Santa Clara will be looking to pick up their first win of the 2022-23 Primeira Liga campaign when they play host to Arouca at the Estadio de Sao Miguel on Saturday.

The Arouquences are currently on a six-game losing streak away from home across all competitions and will head into the weekend looking to end this dire run.

We say: Santa Clara 2-1 Arouca

Fresh off the back of picking up their first win of the season, Arouca will head into the weekend with renewed belief as they eye their first consecutive win since their promotion to the Primeira Liga two seasons ago. Os Acoreanos face a Arouca side who found it tough on the road and we predict they will pick up their first win of the season, albeit by a slender margin.

Chaves vs. Vizela (Saturday, 6.00pm)

The Portuguese Primeira Liga returns with a fresh set of fixtures as newly-promoted Chaves play host to Vizela at the Estadio Municipal Eng. Manuel Branco Teixeira on Saturday.

The Vizelenses have won their last two away games across all competitions and will head into the weekend seeking to make it three on the bounce for the first time since March 2021.

Chavez picked up their first win of the season and will hope that result can serve as a springboard for a fine run of form. However, we predict Vizela will make use of their experience and hold out for a share of the spoils.

The Estadio do Dragao plays host to a thrilling clash of heavyweights in the Portuguese Primeira Liga as Porto lock horns with Sporting Lisbon on Saturday.

Ruben Amorim's men will head into the weekend desperate to get one over their league rivals, having failed to win any of the last five meetings between the sides since January 2021.

We say: Porto 2-1 Sporting Lisbon

Saturday's game sees two of the biggest sides in the Portuguese division go head to head and this makes for an exciting watch. The reigning champions head into the game in superb form, winning each of their last 10 games across all competitions. While we expect the Leoes to put up a fight, we fancy Porto coming out on top while riding on the wave of support from the home fans.
