Report: Michael Dawson fit to face former club Tottenham Hotspur

Hull City defender Michael Dawson is reportedly fit to play against former club Spurs this weekend.

Hull City defender Michael Dawson has reportedly recovered from an ankle injury in time to face former club Tottenham Hotspur this weekend.

The 31-year-old has been out of action for a month after suffering the problem during his side's 2-2 draw with Arsenal.

However, the centre-back is understood to be confident of playing against Spurs at the KC Stadium on Sunday, according to the Evening Standard.

Dawson left Tottenham in the summer following a nine-year spell at White Hart Lane.

Hull are currently in 15th place in the Premier League table, two points clear of the relegation zone.
