Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that Kyle Walker has returned to training after spending the past eight months out injured.
The defender, who had been struggling with an abdominal problem, last played for Spurs back in March.
However, the 24-year-old England international is now edging closer to match fitness following surgery to correct the issue.
"It's great to be back out there with the lads," he told the club's official website. "I'm taking it one step at a time, doing things correctly as I've been told and I'll see where I am in a couple of weeks. Everything is good at the moment. I'll be even happier when I'm back playing but that's the final step."
Tottenham are next in action on November 23 when they travel to Hull City in the Premier League.
