Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale has revealed that manager Andre Villas-Boas has given him the confidence to fulfil his potential at White Hart Lane.
Bale has enjoyed a prolific season with Spurs, scoring 26 goals in 44 appearances while winning a number of individual awards.
The Welsh international admits that he has been delighted with his form, but he has been quick to praise the influence of Villas-Boas.
The 23-year-old told Spurs TV: "He has helped me in all aspects of my game.
"In training we have been working on things that I can do in games and in games he has given me the confidence to do what I want and do what I do best, which is a massive thing for a player."
The former Southampton trainee has been strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid.
