Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Les Ferdinand has called on the club to be patient with manager Mauricio Pochettino.
The Argentine has struggled during his first few months in charge at White Hart Lane, with Spurs currently sitting in 12th place in the Premier League table.
Pochettino has admitted that he is under a lot of pressure to turn things around, but Ferdinand believes that the Tottenham hierarchy must stick with the coach if they want to see a genuine change in the team's fortunes.
"Pochettino has come in and inherited players that perhaps he wouldn't have chosen himself but they were there and he has had to work with them and hopefully he will be given the time," he told Sky Sports News.
"There is unrest there at the moment because results are not going the way they want but he's come in and needs to change what he is doing and get his own players and once he has done that then you can judge him. It's difficult to judge him on the strength of what he has come in to."
Tottenham return to action on November 23 when they face Hull City at the KC Stadium in the Premier League.
