New Nottingham Forest boss Sean O'Driscoll has played down speculation linking Jermaine Jenas with a return to the club this summer.
It had been reported earlier this week that Forest's new Kuwaiti owners were keen to tempt the Tottenham Hotspur and England midfielder back to the City ground either on a loan or permanent basis.
However, O'Driscoll has moved to cool the reports by insisting that no talks have taken place with the 29-year-old.
"If good players become available, we will look at things. At the minute, that is just speculation," he told the Nottingham Evening Post. "We have not had a conversation."
Jenas made 33 appearances for the Tricky Trees during a two-year stint with the senior team.
