Union Berlin vs. Wolfsburg (Sunday, 2.30pm)

Union Berlin will be looking to remain top of the Bundesliga ahead of the international break when they take on Wolfsburg on Sunday.

The visitors, meanwhile, secured their first win under new boss Niko Kovac last weekend.

We say: Union Berlin 1-0 Wolfsburg

We can envisage a tight match between two teams who prefer to quickly counter-attack to building possession slowly, but there is little doubt that the hosts are in much better shape at present.

Fischer's side are tough to break down and, with Sheraldo Becker and Jordan Siebatcheu both in excellent form, they pack a bigger punch, too.

VfL Bochum vs. FC Koln (Sunday, 4.30pm)

VfL Bochum will be looking to avoid defeat for the first this season when they entertain FC Koln on Sunday.

Koln, meanwhile, saw their unbeaten record come to an end at home to Union Berlin last time out.

We say: VfL Bochum 1-2 FC Koln

Baumgart changed half of his outfielders on Thursday, which should help keep his team fresh for the trip to Bochum at the weekend.

As such, we are struggling to see the hosts avoiding defeat yet again, with their main hope being that Butscher gets a positive reaction from the players after the managerial change earlier in the week.

Hoffenheim vs. Freiburg (Sunday, 6.30pm)

Hoffenheim take on Freiburg in the Bundesliga on Sunday, with both teams looking to stay in the top four ahead of the forthcoming international break.

Neither team were expected to be competing towards the top of the table, albeit at an early stage of the season, so it should make for an intriguing encounter.

We say: Hoffenheim 1-1 Freiburg

Both teams head into this clash in excellent form of late, so it should be an interesting tactical battle between two sides playing with plenty of confidence.

Neither side have leaked many goals lately, so we can envisage a low-scoring share of the spoils, which would almost certainly satisfy both coaches heading into the international break.
