Dean Smith has capped Walsall's impressive start to the season by signing a new 12-month rolling contract.
The Saddlers are currently flying high in the League One table after losing just one of their opening 12 fixtures.
Smith, who has been in charge of the club for the past five years, has now agreed terms on a fresh deal at the Banks's Stadium.
"I'm really pleased to have signed a new deal," he told the club's official website. "My current deal was up at the end of the season so I'm glad it's been sorted.
"I'm happy with how we are developing as a club. Now I'm looking forward to continuing the progress we've made.
"I've enjoyed my time in charge so far and I'm still learning everyday. I feel like I'm getting better as a manager and I just want to keep developing."
Smith, a former Walsall player, is the fourth-longest serving manager in English football's top four leagues.
