West Bromwich Albion manager Alan Pardew says that he is confident that his side will come out of their winless run after losing 3-1 to Stoke City on Saturday.

West Bromwich Albion manager Alan Pardew has said that he is confident that his side will come out of their winless run after losing 3-1 to Stoke City on Saturday.

Salomon Rondon pulled a goal back for the Baggies after Stoke had put themselves 2-0 up, before Ramadan Sobhi sealed the win for Mark Hughes's side in injury time.

The defeat means that West Brom are still without a win since beating Burnley in August, but Pardew has urged his side to keep their chins up.

"It was difficult because I thought we did well in the first half," the manager told reporters. "The second goal really hurt us. We changed things around a little bit.

"The response was excellent and certainly deserved something out of the game. This team is finding it hard to find that second goal at the moment. We were a little bit unlucky. The goalkeeper played well for them and we came away with a defeat.

"I really feel for the players. They gave it everything and deserved more than they got. We'll be fighting right until the end but I think we will get out of it."

Pardew, who was left waiting for his first win as Baggies boss, will face Everton and Arsenal before the turn of the year.
