West Ham United are reportedly close to agreeing a deal to sign Ivory Coast striker Wilfried Bony for a club-record transfer fee of £12m.
Bony has attracted interest from a string of clubs across Europe in the last 18 months by scoring consistently for Vitesse Arnhem in the Netherlands.
After watching Bony net 26 times in 24 league games this season, West Ham have begun negotiations with Vitesse to capture the forward, according to The Sun.
The player's agent is thought to be due in London for a meeting with Hammers co-owners David Gold and David Sullivan on Monday to set out concrete terms.
Hammers boss Sam Allardyce is keen on landing a striker this summer as he attempts to establish the club as force in the Premier League.
