Ferrari technical director James Allison believes that having a reliable car is the crucial aspect for all teams ahead of the new Formula 1 season.
Allison has insisted that Ferrari are capable of ending Red Bull's dominance in the championship after they unveiled their 2014 car.
"The importance of aerodynamics to the Championship is going to be at least as important as the differences in power levels between the various engine manufacturers," PlanetF1.com quotes Allison as saying.
"However, if I had to choose the thing that was likely to be the dominant factor for the whole season, I would choose neither the level of power nor the aerodynamic development.
"I would say that this year reliability is going to be absolutely fundamental."
Pre-season begins in Jerez on Tuesday.
