Lotus driver Romain Grosjean has cited changes to his car as the reason for his podium finish at the Bahrain Grand Prix on Sunday.
The 27-year-old overtook Paul di Resta with five laps remaining to secure a third-placed finish in the fourth race of the season at the weekend.
The strong finish coincides with Grosjean's new chassis, and the Frenchman is pleased with the current condition of his car.
"We had to pit early because we had debris in the car," Grosjean told BBC Sport. "I was well posted by my engineer telling me my pace was good.
"I was still fighting with Ferrari and McLarens so I knew I was still up there. My car is back to where I like to have it. It's good to have both cars on the podium."
The finish was Grosjean's first podium finish since July 2012.
