Pascal Wehrlein confident of 2017 contract

Pascal Wehrlein is confident that he will still be a F1 driver in 2017.

Pascal Wehrlein has said that he is confident he will still be a Formula 1 driver in 2017.

The German made his F1 debut at Manor this year with Mercedes's backing.

He told reporters: "I don't know yet what I'm doing next year, because I have a one-year contract with Manor.

"I think talks will be held soon but I do think that I'm staying in F1."

The 2016 championship continues tomorrow with the Italian Grand Prix.
