Ross Brawn has dismissed recent reports suggesting that he could become chief executive officer of McLaren.
After leaving Mercedes at the end of last season, Brawn has been linked with a number of roles but has insisted that he has no plans to return to the paddock in the near future.
"I'm focused on my fishing at the moment, no discussions, no comments," told Sky Sports News. "I've got a lot of very enjoyable fishing trips planned!
"Come the summer I may take stock and things may change - never say never - but it's not my plan. Any approaches I've had I have replied with a polite rebuff.
"I am very flattered but simply I don't want to get involved or engaged."
Mercedes finished second in the constructors' championship under Brawn last season.
