Lewis Hamilton has finished in the fastest time in the final practice session before qualifying for the Australian Grand Prix.

The Mercedes driver clocked a quickest time of 1:27.867 as he bounced back after he was edged out on the first day of practice by teammate Nico Rosberg.

Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel finished behind Hamilton in second as he was 0.696s slower than the 30-year-old, while Rosberg placed in third as he came in narrowly behind the German.

Williams had a solid session as Valtteri Bottas and Felipe Massa finished in fourth and fifth respectively ahead of Kimi Raikkonen and Lotus's Romain Grosjean.
