Nico Rosberg: Red Bulls "too fast"

Nico Rosberg admits that no team will be able to compete with the Red Bulls in Sunday's Indian Grand Prix.

Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg has admitted that the Red Bulls are "too fast" for him or Lewis Hamilton to be able to challenge for pole in Saturday's Indian Grand Prix qualifying session.

Hamilton was fourth and Rosberg sixth in P2 and the German said it is a shame that Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber are so much faster than the rest of the field.

"We're fighting for third place on the podium because the Red Bulls are just too quick again," the German told Sky Sports News. "Pole is also out of question because they are too fast - especially Vettel. It's a bit of a pity, but that's just the way it is."

If Vettel finishes in the top five on Sunday he will claim his fourth-straight world title.
