Adidas' potential collaboration with the Mercedes Formula 1 team remains unconfirmed as neither party has provided official comments on the matter.
As Lewis Hamilton gears up for a switch to Ferrari in the upcoming year, Mercedes stands to part ways with fashion giants Puma and Tommy Hilfiger.
British news outlets have hinted at Adidas stepping in to bridge the gap, especially following the announcement of Adidas severing ties with the German football federation, the DFB, after many years.
"But now it seems as if the sporting goods manufacturer from Herzogenaurach has found a top-class replacement," according to reports from Bild.
A representative from Adidas has yet to make any official confirmation regarding the speculated partnership.
"We generally do not participate in speculation," they mentioned, maintaining a stance of neutrality. Similarly, Mercedes has opted not to respond to inquiries.
It's believed by leading German publications that the speculated contract between Adidas and Mercedes could be valued at approximately 10 million Euros annually.
