Felipe Massa: 'Track conditions were dangerous at Japanese Grand Prix'

Williams driver Felipe Massa says that the race conditions at the Japanese Grand Prix were dangerous.

Felipe Massa has said that it was "dangerous" to hold the Japanese Grand Prix in wet conditions at Suzuka this morning.

Marussia driver Jules Bianchi has been taken to hospital unconscious after colliding with a vehicle that had been recovering Adrian Sutil's Sauber, which had run wide a few moments earlier.

The Williams driver, who suffered a serious head injury in qualifying at the 2009 Hungarian Grand Prix, told Sky Sports News: "I am very concerned about Jules. In my opinion, we started the race too early and we ended it too late. I was screaming on the radio five laps before the Safety Car that there was too much water on the track. It was dangerous."

The race was red flagged following the incident, resulting in a victory for Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes.
