Jbe Kruger claims maiden Tour title

Jbe Kruger cards a final round 69 to finish on 14-under-par and win the Avantha Masters by two shots, claiming his maiden Tour title.

Jbe Kruger has won his first European Tour title by triumphing at the Avantha Masters in New Delhi this morning.

The South African shot a final round 69 to finish on 14-under-par for the tournament, two clear of the chasing duo of Jorge Campillo and Marcel Siem.

Kruger, 25, carded just three bogeys over the four rounds and managed to calm his nerves on the 18th after a shaky bogey on 17.

One of Kruger's challengers, Peter Whiteford, was disqualified from the event after a ball-moving incident.
