DP World Tour Championship winner Henrik Stenson has revealed that a first Major title is his main goal for next year.
The 38-year-old Swede won his second straight title in the European Tour's season-ending showpiece at the Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai to climb up to second in the world rankings behind Rory McIlroy.
"It would be nice to have been ranked the world's best at some point, but if I had the choice I would go for a major championship so I am going to try and be in good shape for them next year," Stenson said after victory earlier today.
In the last six Majors stretching back to the 2013 Open Championship, Stenson has had five top-20 finishes, with four of those being top-five places.
