Dustin Johnson has begun the 2013 PGA Tour by triumphing at the weather-affected Tournament of Champions in Hawaii.
The first round was delayed until the fourth day due to windy conditions, but when the action did begin, Johnson led from start to finish at the Plantation Course.
He carded a third-round five-under-par 68 to close the 54-hole tournament four shots clear of American compatriot Steve Stricker.
Brandt Snedeker threatened a final-day charge but could not get on a birdie streak and eventually finished a shot further back, with Ian Poulter the highest-ranked European in ninth.
It is Johnson's seventh PGA Tour victory and the third successive time he has won when a tournament has been reduced to 54 holes.
