Kiradech Aphibarnrat won the inaugural Shenzhen International by beating Chinese teenager Li Hao-tong in a playoff, claiming his second title on the European tour.
The Thai golfer had been the overnight leader, but Li headed into the clubhouse at the top of the leaderboard after carding a round of 67, which included an eagle on the 17th, on the fourth day of the tournament.
Aphibarnrat had to birdie the final two holes to get back to 12 under, tying the 19-year-old's final score to force the playoff.
The world number 116 kept his composure to birdie the 18th again just a few minutes later, handing him the win as Li could only putt for par.
Aphibarnrat's win prevents Li from becoming the first Chinese player to secure a win on the European tour.
