Davis Love III has named Dustin Johnson, Jim Furyk, Brandt Snedeker and Steve Stricker as his captain's picks for the USA Ryder Cup team.
There had been much speculation as to whom Love would select after a stellar year for American golf.
Johnson has returned to form in the past month after a spell out with injury, while Furyk came close to winning the US Open in June.
Snedeker is regarded as the best putter on the PGA Tour in 2012 and Stricker is known for his consistency and will bring plenty of experience to a team featuring four rookies.
The most notable absentees from the team are Hunter Mahan, who won the Accenture Matchplay in February, and Rickie Fowler, who came to prominence with his performances in the 2010 Ryder Cup at Celtic Manor.
