Meghan Duggan delighted with comeback from injury

Team USA forward Meghan Duggan says that she has no "hesitation" in taking to the ice now that she has fully recovered from her concussion.

Team USA forward Meghan Duggan has said that she feels "strong" since returning from a long-term injury last February.

The 26-year-old, who was sidelined for 13 months after suffering a concussion in 2011, helped her country to win the IIHF Women's World Championship in April 2013.

"There were times that were really bad where I didn't know how it would end up for me, so I definitely feel lucky," she told Cosmopolitan.

"I think back [to] when I was struggling really bad. I was thinking of the pros and cons of getting back in and actually taking another hit.

"But since I've been back and I feel strong and I haven't had any problems, I don't feel any hesitation."

USA will take on Finland in Group A at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi on Saturday.
