Judoka ace Sagi Muki claims Israel's first gold at European Games

Judoka star Sagi Muki gets Israel off the mark by winning his nation's first gold at the European Games in Baku by beating Georgia's Nugzari Tatalashvili in the final.

Sagi Muki of Israel clinched gold in the men's 73kg judo event at the European Games this evening.

He edged out Georgia's Nugzari Tatalashvili in the final to pick up his nation's first gold in Baku this summer - and their ninth medal overall.

Rok Draksic of Slovenia and Belgian Dirk van Tichelt shared the bronze after losing their respective semi-final clashes.
