Model and former Miss Venezuela Aida Yespica has denied having a romance with new Arsenal signing Mesut Ozil.
Reports in Spain and Italy recently accused the German international of having an 'obsessive' relationship with the model, which led to Real Madrid allowing the midfielder to leave the Bernabeu for Arsenal on deadline day.
However, Yespica has denied any romance despite swapping numbers with the player, and claims that the pair are are no longer in contact.
"I know Ozil," Yespica told SportMediaset. "Two years ago we ran into each other at a nightclub in Madrid, but I have nothing to do with his departure from Real. We never had sex."
Real president Florentino Perez was quoted as saying earlier this week that Ozil was "obsessed with women".
