Barcelona reportedly paid more than £236,000 to arrange for a private jet to fly Neymar's friends and family to Spain for his presentation ceremony last year.
The news is believed to have come to light during the High Court case regarding Barcelona's acquisition of Neymar from Santos.
According to Marca, in former Barcelona president Sandro Rosell's testimony to Judge Ruz, it was suggested that the club forked out thousands to accommodate Neymar's friends and family from Brazil.
TV channel Cadena SER has claimed that the payment was dubbed 'Neymar party private jet', but Rosell has defended the decision by stating that they are "standard expenses" when a "particular type of player" signs for the club.
