Survey names Birmingham City's St Andrew's as "most romantic" ground

A survey of 1,000 football fans names Birmingham City's St Andrew's as the most romantic stadium in the football league.

A study by League Cup sponsors Capital One has named Birmingham City's St Andrew's as the "most romantic" ground in the football league.

The survey of 1,000 football fans revealed that 72% of the Championship side's fans believe that the stadium is romantic, while just 14% of Stoke City supporters would say the same about the Britannia Stadium.

According to the results, a third of men would go to a football match for a first date, compared to over 45% of women.

Over 400 of the fans surveyed revealed that they would most like to attend a match with a friend, although Chelsea fans are most likely to take their partner.
