Everton's legendary former manager Howard Kendall will be laid to rest at the Anglican Cathedral in Liverpool this afternoon.
Kendall, who won two First Division titles in 1985 and 1987, passed away at the age of 69 on October 17.
The funeral, which will be open to the public, will begin at 1pm this afternoon, one hour after the procession does a lap of Everton's Goodison Park.
During Kendall's time as Everton manager, which totalled nine years over two separate spells, he also guided the team to an FA Cup trophy and a European Cup Winners' Cup.
