Gary Lineker presents the opening Match of the Day show of the new season in his underwear after saying that he would do so after Leicester City won the Premier League.

Gary Lineker has presented the opening Match of the Day show of the new Premier League season in his underwear.

The former England captain, 55, had pledged on Twitter that he would "do the first MOTD of next season in just my undies" if former club Leicester City won the title.

Claudio Ranieri's charges went on to clinch their first ever top-flight championship by 10 points, and Lineker duly kept his promise.


Leicester fell to a shock 2-1 defeat at the hands of Hull City in their first league game as incumbent champions.
