Robbie Fowler takes part in Standard Chartered charity bike ride

Former Liverpool forward Robbie Fowler takes part in a charity ride for Standard Chartered's charity 'Seeing is Believing'.

Former Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler has entered a charity bike ride in aid of the 'Seeing is Believing' charity set up by Reds sponsors Standard Chartered.

The bank are hoping to raise money for the initiative, which has been supported by the Liverpool team who sported the charity's logo on their shirts during a match last season.

Fowler began the ride at Anfield before reaching Kidderminster on Monday evening in a 100m cycle, according to the Daily Mail.

The ride will be carried out over three days, finishing at the Standard Chartered headquarters in Central London in a bid to raise money for the charity, which aims to eliminate avoidable blindness.
