Former Premier League goalkeeper David James has managed to rack up thousands of pounds after selling football memorabilia in an online auction.
The 44-year-old, who went bankrupt in May, placed a number of goods up for sale earlier this month via auctioneer Hilco.
According to The Mirror, James's England shirt from the 2002 World Cup 1-0 win over Argentina was sold for £672, while a Liverpool and Portsmouth shirt, both worn by the former shot-stopper, went for around £160 and £480 respectively.
As well as football memorabilia, an unused Raleigh Chopper bicycle was sold for more than £1,000 following interest from 26 bidders.
James currently plays for and coaches Indian Super League side Kerala Blasters FC.
