Norwegian Liverpool fans name daughter YNWA

Norwegian Liverpool supporters show their devotion to the Premier League club by naming their daughter YNWA.

A couple of Norwegian Liverpool supporters have revealed that they named their daughter YNWA to show their devotion to the Premier League club.

The four-year-old child's name, which is pronounced Yee-Nwa, carries the initials of Liverpool's famous anthem 'You'll Never Walk Alone'.

The little girl's mother Eirin Isabel Iversen has revealed that she plans to take her child to Anfield this season to watch the Reds play, and specifically captain Steven Gerrard, who will leave the club at the end of the season.

"She is so excited to come and see them play," Eirin told the Liverpool Echo. "Her favourite player is Steven Gerrard, but he's leaving now - she's very sad about that. She sits and watches all the games and cheers along, she's very proud."

Eirin also revealed that she and her husband would have named their child Gerrard if she had been born a boy.
