Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli has reportedly decided to give up smoking at the request of his manager Roberto Mancini.
The Italian boss is believed to have alerted Balotelli to the anti-smoking campaign, which emerged last month, called Stoptober.
"The campaign is supported by Ian Wright and when manager Mancini told Mario about it, it was just the incentive he needed to get him to make the effort and stop," said a source, according to The Sun. "Even though October's over, Mario's keeping it up."
Meanwhile, Balotelli and Mancini are preparing to take on Ajax in the Champions League tomorrow night.
