Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson has added another accolade to his collection after setting the record for the world's longest football kick.

City invited officials from the Guinness Book of World Records to the club's training facilities, with the Brazilian allowed three attempts to break the previous longest kick of 75 metres.

The 24-year-old was short on his first two attempts, but kicked the ball a distance of 75.35 metres on his third attempt to set the new record.

Ederson's latest achievement caps off a solid debut season with Pep Guardiola's team after winning the EFL Cup and the Premier League title.

The goalkeeper is expected to be part of Brazil's 23-man roster for the World Cup after impressing in the City goal.
