Former Oasis lead guitarist Noel Gallagher has picked Manchester United legend George Best and Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli to join his fantasy band.
The 47-year-old, who is a Manchester City fan, decided that Best would be the frontman on vocals, Balotelli would be the drummer, former Real Madrid star Zinedine Zidane would be lead guitarist and ex-Arsenal midfielder Patrick Vieira would be on bass guitar.
Gallagher told BBC Sport: "You have got to have a headcase on the drums and Mario could also join in with a rap every now and again. He's like a modern-day rock star anyway.
"In any band, you want a good-looking lad as the singer. Georgie is my frontman because he was the greatest footballer of all time and he looked cool as well - he was football's first superstar."
Gallagher, who currently fronts band High Flying Birds, appeared on Sunday's Match of the Day 2.
