Manchester United's most recent expensive signing Anthony Martial took his young family to Wetherspoons for a meal on Thursday night.
The striker, who cost his new club an initial £36m, decided against the city's top spots and instead rocked up at the Trafford Centre branch of the national chain, according to The Mirror.
Martial, 19, was accompanied by his wife Samantha and young daughter Toto.
He had been on a day-long shopping trip with his family and still had time to sign autographs for the few fans that recognised him at the Mardi Gras, styled on the Louisiana city of New Orleans.
Martial made his senior debut for France after coming off the bench against Portugal last week.
