As if winning through to his second US Open final was not enough, Andy Murray received special praise from two famous Scotsmen in New York.
The 25-year-old beat Czech number one Tomas Berdych in the semi-finals at Flushing Meadows to book his second Grand Slam final of the year.
Before the post-match press conference got underway, Murray was greeted by former 007 star Sean Connery and Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
Mother Judy seemed to have some banter with Sir Alex, who looked like he may have had a few too many glasses of vino.
