Olympic bronze medallist Tom Daley was swarmed by fans when he arrived in Australia for the FINA World Junior Diving Championships.
The 18-year-old, who has been in high demand since reaching the podium at London 2012 in the summer, announced on Twitter that he was touching down in Adelaide and was greeted by a mass of female fans.
"It's been crazy the number of people who turned up at the airport," Daley told adelaidenow. "I didn't realise the power of Twitter, to be honest.
"I said I was going to Australia and so many people turned out to support me, it's hard to get used to."
Daley gets his campaign underway on Monday.
