Double Olympic gold medallist Mo Farah will reportedly be paid £250,000 for running the first 13 miles of the London Marathon.
The 29-year-old, who won the 5,000m and 10,000m finals at the London Olympic Games last summer, is expected to overtake Jessica Ennis as Team GB's top earner.
It is believed that the long-distance runner will be offered £500,000 more from race sponsors Virgin for taking part in the entire 26-mile race in 2014, according to The Sun.
Meanwhile, Ennis is thought to be worth £3.5m following her success at London 2012.
