Sky Sports has announced that it will be the exclusive home of live Formula 1 in the UK for six seasons from 2019.
Currently, Sky shows all grands prix but half are also made available for terrestrial television on Channel 4.
However, the new agreement will see Sky gain exclusive rights to the motorsport and show just one race - the British Grand Prix - as free-to-air.
F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone told Sky's website: "I am delighted that we will continue to work together. Sky's commitment to the sport and standard of coverage is second to none."
Sky also said that it would broadcast two "prime time" races on a new soon-to-be-launched sports channel called Sky Sports Mix, available to basic Sky subscription holders.
