Olympic bronze and silver medallist Louis Smith has received the backing of his coach Paul Hall as the gymnast enters his third week on Strictly Come Dancing.
The 23-year-old has been a hit on the BBC One show and while Hall, who works at the Huntingdon Olympic Gym, has been honest about his lack of ballroom knowledge, he hopes that Smith can go all the way.
"What on earth do I know about ballroom dancing?!" Hall wrote in the Hunts Post. "Not a great deal, I have to admit, but he looked good and the judges seemed impressed so I'm sure he's happy.
"Louis should be pleased with his performance but must work hard to stay the pace for the next few weeks of rigorous training. I know it's tough, mate, but stay with it and enjoy the dance!"
Smith survived the first public vote over the weekend.
