Cristiano Ronaldo has been named the world's richest footballer in the annual Goal Rich List, with an estimated fortune of €210m (£151.7m).
According to the list, Ronaldo, who also claimed top spot in 2014, earns €18.2m (£13.1m) from Real Madrid per year, while sponsorship deals with a number of brands, including Nike, Samsung and Emporio Armani, further his wealth.
Barcelona striker Lionel Messi is second, just €10m (£7.2m) behind Ronaldo, while teammate Neymar comes in third.
Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney is the richest player in the Premier League, with the majority of his €103m (£74.2m) net worth coming from his salary at the club.
