Amazon orders extra "coronavirus episode" of Spurs documentary

Amazon orders an extra episode of its new Tottenham Hotspur documentary series in order to follow the events of Project Restart.

Amazon has ordered a bonus episode of its forthcoming behind-the-scenes documentary at Tottenham Hotspur in order to follow the club's fortunes through Project Restart.

All Or Nothing: Tottenham Hotspur has captured every moment of the North Londoners' 2019-20 campaign, with cameras in the dressing room, at the training ground and in tactical meetings.

The show also managed to capture the moment Mauricio Pochettino was sensationally sacked and replaced by Jose Mourinho in November and also documented the club's Champions League campaign, which ended at the round-of-16 stage.

Amazon had initially ordered eight episodes of the show, but following an unexpected 100-day break due to the coronavirus pandemic, the season is still not over.

According to Broadcast, a ninth episode will focus on the final weeks of the season, with the Amazon cameras said to have captured lockdown training sessions over Zoom as well as the players' return to the Enfield training ground.

A release date for the new series has not yet been confirmed.
